Held at Government House in Wellington, Dame Cindy and Dr Davies hosted a reception celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust on Wednesday 16 October.
A Churchill Fellow himself, Dr Davies shared reflections from his own travels, including visits to clinics and outreach centres across the United Kingdom and Ireland, where he explored ways to enhance primary healthcare for people experiencing homelessness.
Alison Cadman, Deputy Chair and a Churchill Fellow, shared that Fellowships are about more than knowledge exchange. They’re about people, relationships, and understanding.
“When we meet face to face, conversations go deeper, trust grows more quickly, and new ideas and opportunities appear.”
